This page sets out the terms governing your use of the Mr. Mezcal website, the government-mandated health warnings that apply to alcoholic beverages, and the conditions under which our products are marketed and sold. Please read it carefully.

GOVERNMENT WARNING: (1) According to the Surgeon General, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. (2) Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems.
This website concerns distilled spirits and is intended only for adults of legal drinking age. In the United States, the minimum legal drinking age is 21 years. By entering, browsing, or otherwise using this website, you affirm that you are at least 21 years of age (or, if you are outside the United States, that you are of the legal age to purchase and consume alcohol in your country or jurisdiction).
You agree not to forward, share, or make any part of this website available to any person who is below the legal drinking age. We do not market our products to, and this website is not directed at, persons below the legal drinking age. We reserve the right to deny access to anyone who cannot verify that they meet these requirements.
The following warning is required by U.S. federal law (the Alcoholic Beverage Labeling Act of 1988; 27 U.S.C. § 215) and appears on our products. It applies to all alcoholic beverages sold or distributed in the United States:

Mr. Mezcal is made to be savored slowly and in moderation. Please enjoy responsibly. Never drink and drive, and never operate machinery after drinking. If you are pregnant or may become pregnant, do not consume alcohol. If you are concerned about your drinking or someone else's, confidential help is available — in the U.S. you may contact the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357).
Mr. Mezcal is a brand and producer. This website is informational and promotional. Where you are directed to purchase our products, the sale is fulfilled by independent, licensed third-party retailers, distributors, bars, or restaurants — not by Mr. Mezcal directly, except where we are specifically licensed to do so.
Those licensed sellers are solely responsible for verifying the buyer's age and identity, for collecting any applicable taxes, and for completing each sale in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Title to any product passes in accordance with the seller's own terms. Product availability, pricing, and the ability to ship vary by location and may change without notice.
Alcohol shipping is heavily regulated and is permitted only where lawful. Any retailer fulfilling an order will ship only to jurisdictions where such shipment is legal, and only to a recipient who is of legal drinking age. An adult signature (21+ in the United States) is required upon delivery. We make no representation that our products are appropriate or available for sale in any particular location, and it is your responsibility to comply with the laws of your own jurisdiction.
By using this website you agree to these terms. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use it in any way that could damage or impair it. We may update, change, or remove any part of this website, and may revise these terms, at any time; the version posted here is the version that applies.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of this website without our prior written permission. Awards, scores, and press references are the property of their respective organizations and are used for identification only.
This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any information (including tasting notes, ABV figures, availability, or third-party links) is complete or current.

When you contact us or join our private list, we collect only the information you provide (such as your name, email, and location) and use it to respond to you and to let you know where our mezcal is available. We do not sell your personal information. You may ask us to remove your information at any time by writing to contact@mrmezcal.com. This website is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with the laws of your country or jurisdiction, including its legal drinking age and any restrictions on the marketing, sale, importation, or delivery of alcoholic beverages. Mr. Mezcal es un mezcal de origen único elaborado de forma artesanal en Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, dentro del territorio amparado por la Denominación de Origen Mezcal (DOM). Los nombres de los agaves, varietales, premios y referencias de prensa se utilizan con fines informativos y de identificación. El contenido alcohólico (% Alc. Vol.) de cada expresión se indica en su etiqueta.
Mr. Mezcal está hecho para disfrutarse despacio y con moderación. Consuma con responsabilidad. Nunca conduzca ni opere maquinaria después de beber. Si está embarazada o podría estarlo, no consuma alcohol. Si le preocupa su consumo o el de alguien más, existe ayuda disponible — en México puede comunicarse con la Línea de la Vida al 800 911 2000.
Mr. Mezcal es una marca y productor. Este sitio web es de carácter informativo y promocional. Cuando se le dirige a adquirir nuestros productos, la venta es realizada por distribuidores, tiendas, bares o restaurantes independientes y debidamente autorizados — no directamente por Mr. Mezcal, salvo en los casos en que contemos con la autorización correspondiente.
